Iasta Receives SAS 70 Type II Re-Certification

Indianapolis, IN, July 28, 2010

Iasta is pleased to announce the company has successfully completed the Statement on Auditing Standard No. 70 Type II (SAS 70) audit again. The audit was performed by a nationally recognized, independent auditing firm. The general computer controls supporting Iasta’s SmartSource suite of applications were evaluated in the audit.

"Successfully completing our second SAS-70 Type II audit in 18 months lets our customers know that we have been through a comprehensive examination and in-depth testing process," said Todd Epple, Chief Financial Officer of Iasta. "This audit renewal is another example of Iasta's ongoing commitment to maintain the highest standards of security and compliance for our customers and partners."

A few of the general control environment areas also evaluated in the audit include:

Integrity and ethical value
Commitment to competence
Board of directors participation
Organizational structure and assignment of authority and responsibility

A risk assessment and analysis of both the information and communication systems was also completed prior to issuing Iasta a successful SAS 70 audit.
