The latest version of SmartSource SRM 8.0 allows users to collect, store, and maintain business-critical information about suppliers in custom profiles.  This powerful functionality, found in SmartSource SRM 8.0, allows buyers to create profiles that contain fields and supporting documents that meet company's unique business. Buyers can invite suppliers to register and complete a profile or enable suppliers to self-register.

"We are excited to bring new integrated functionality to SmartSource users and make it easier to manage supplier relationships.  We are putting additional supplier information in the hands of the buyers," said Jason Treida, Chief Operations Officer of Iasta.  Treida also added, "This will also provide our users with a richer catalog of supplier information, help manage supplier diversity initiatives and minimize overall supplier risk."  Now, with only a few clicks, users have the ability to create their own custom supplier profiles with unique fields, allowing their team to exponentially improve their productivity and effectiveness now that supplier information is consolidated for easy access.

Other enhancements include improvement to user's ability to manage contracts, sourcing projects and make faster post-bid award analysis.
