Inc. Magazine recently announced the results of its annual Inc. 500 / 5000 Lists and it has ranked Iasta as one of the fastest growing companies in both the United States and Indiana. The magazine ranks privately held companies based on their documented growth rates. Iasta’s explosive growth rate of 531.6% placed it No. 610 overall and No 29 overall in the business services category. Additionally, Iasta was the highest ranked company of its industry peers of supply management software/services.

According to Inc., the magazine learned a great deal about today’s private companies. “These companies are the elite--a mere sliver of the seven million or so companies in the U.S. that have employees,” said John Koten, CEO of Mansueto Ventures, and Ed Sussman, head of the online publishing division. “What have we learned about them? The 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. produced $194 billion in 2006 revenue, about 1.5 percent of the national gross domestic product, and employed more than 900,000 people, about 0.6 percent of the jobs in the U.S,”
