Solutions Analyst

Job Description:

The Solution Analyst primary responsibility is identifying opportunities for the Iasta software platforms and building new business relationships for Iasta. This is done via phone and email campaigns to various Supply Management/E-Sourcing professionals worldwide. Also, Solutions Analysts will actively pursue new business contacts by conducting research to find new prospect opportunities. Maintaining careful and accurate client records in the company CRM system is required.

The Solutions Analyst is responsible for communicating with sales and operations to ensure all client needs are being met. This position does not "close" deals. It is a critical early stage component to the complex nature of technology sales where a collaborative approach is taken to build the best opportunity for the company solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop new sales leads via phone/email prospecting and communication with proper contacts targeting corporations using company provided information
  • Build relationships with key executives and decision makers within assigned accounts
  • Understand milestones within the sales lifecycle to appropriately shift the responsibility to the other internal groups for technical demonstrations and pricing proposals
  • Have a deep knowledge of the Iasta solutions in order to prepare prospects to commit to product demos and onsite presentations
  • Develop and maintain technical and marketing knowledge of the entire Iasta product line
  • Develop, share, and maintain knowledge of competitors
  • Interact with current sales team to build knowledge base on solutions to ensure overall customer satisfaction
  • Meet and surpass pre-defined metrics for successful goals

Qualifications:

  • Professional written and oral communication skills required
  • History of quota attainment and/or previous direct sales experience
  • Software and technology background a plus
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills required
  • Ability to build relationships and develop trust
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative sales team environment
