Business Analyst
Job Description:
Iasta is hiring for a Business Analyst position to support clients by assisting in the vendor selection process. At this position, you will be trained on Iasta's optimization and spend analysis applications. You will be expected to lead in-house sourcing projects and train clients on the technology and sourcing processes to maximize cost savings opportunities. This will be done by supporting our client's goals, objectives and promoting the effective use of Iasta technology throughout the organization.
Strong candidates must be extremely proactive, motivated, organized, and work well within a fast-paced group. The ideal candidate is able to leverage deep analytical skills and help leaders throughout the business make critical strategic and operational decisions.
Required:
Project work will be expected at both the Carmel office and client sites. You may also participate in marketing activities and the preparation of proposals for new engagement opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1-3 years experience at the analyst level or similar position
- Create and discuss business cases for recommendations
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work well with metrics, numbers, and trends
- Ability to creatively solve problems
- Insure a high degree of client satisfaction for all services provided
- Gradually assume more responsibility and autonomy
- Transfer knowledge to customer/client personnel
- Analyzing Spend data to identify cost saving opportunities
- Experience using technology to work efficiently with datasets, e.g., Excel pivot tables and advanced MS Excel modeling skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation writing and delivery
- Web and on-site Client training of Iasta's applications and sourcing processes
- Willing to travel up to 25%
