Solutions Engineer

Job Description:

The Solutions Engineer will work closely with Iasta's sales team by providing technical expertise and product demonstrations throughout the entire sales cycle. The Solutions Engineer will help the team meet or exceed sales objectives by working with prospects and customers to uncover their sourcing challenges, propose potential solutions and lead compelling product demonstrations to show how the solutions meet their needs. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing sales team and a chance to work with industry leading Supply Management software.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high quality presentations and high-impact demonstrations for prospects and customers
  • Support selling efforts of the Iasta global sales team via conference calls and web demonstrations
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of all Iasta product platforms, services as well as the Supply Management industry for assistance with product development
  • Help uncover and solve customer sourcing challenges through tailored design of solution using Iasta products and services
  • Handle customer presentations and preparation of RFI/RFP's with minimal assistance
  • Support the education of the sales team for new products, new product features and new services
  • Feel comfortable working in a fast-moving environment that is driven by customer needs and wants
  • Tailor selling approach to the unique requirements of each customer
  • Attend appropriate internal and external training as guided by management

Skills Required & Experience:

  • Qualified candidates should have a BA, BS or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant software and/or industry experience
  • Strong sales support skills, customer service skills, and executive presence
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
  • Have a very strong, outgoing sales personality with a focus on entrepreneurial spirit and attitude
  • Ability to "think on your feet" in customer-facing situations and creatively solve technical and process-relates problems
  • Ability to support periodic domestic travel
  • Experience designing and delivering product demonstrations and presentations
