Support Operations
Job Description:
Indianapolis, IN based Iasta is expanding its European support staff to assist and work closely with our European offices and clients.
At this position you will be providing technical and strategic support to buyers and suppliers related to the purchasing of good and services for global corporations. In addition, you would be expect to assist in supporting day-to-day operations of our European offices which may lead into client and supplier web training sessions and project management of highly strategic sourcing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Insure a high degree of client satisfaction for all services provided
- Be able to gradually assume more responsibility and autonomy
- To successfully carry out the following technical services with the Iasta product:
- Software technical support
- Web/Phone based training for new users
- Preparation of technical documents from software template
- Customer/Client support of ongoing projects
- Directing Calls
- To follow the standard procedures for each of the above technical services to ensure quality
- To transfer knowledge to customer/client personnel
- To help maintain and enhance software features
- To build e-auction projects from data provided by clients
Required:
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- High proficiency with Windows applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of software applications
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to develop an extensive knowledge of Iasta applications
- Able to multitask, remain organized and prioritize between multiple projects
- Corporate purchasing experience beneficial but not required
- Knowledge of a European spoken language is beneficial but not required.
