Software Engineer
Job Description:
Iasta is looking to hire software engineers with sound object-oriented development and design skills to enhance our Windows-based client/server application. The developers will work as an integral part of our development team to help design and enhance the system.
The successful candidates will posses expertise and experience developing Windows desktop applications, and be able to work well with others in a fast-paced, growing team environment. Demonstration of sound development practices and object oriented design skills are a must.
Required:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong object-oriented software development skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases and syntax
- Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, and the XML APIs: DOM and SAX
- Dedicated work ethic to deliver results rapidly
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work both independently and with a team, working together to solve problems in the most effective way
Helpful Extras:
- Systems experience with both Windows and Linux server architectures and networking
- Strong graphical aesthetic design skills
