Software Development Team Lead
Job Description:
- Perform quality assurance review on all source code paying special attention to proper object oriented design, performance (general and query specific), backwards compatibility, and maintainability.
- Maintain the integration and bug-fix branches by merging reviewed code.
- Aid developers on design decisions and conflict resolution with the integration branch.
- Document, track, and communication test plans, test results, analysis, and unresolved problems.
- Coordinate and aid in user testing.
Required Skills
- Execellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years software development/quality assurance experience with object oriented languages
- String knowledge of SQL databases and syntax (MSSQL 2005)
- Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, and the XML APIs: COM and SAX
- Client/Server application programming experience
- Dedicated work ethic
- Solid communication skills and ability to work both independently and with a team
Helpful Extras:
- Experience with automated test suites
- SQL performance tuning experience both on queries and server
