Delphi Developer
Job Description:
Iasta is looking to hire software engineers with sound Delphi development experience and strong object-oriented design skills to enhance our Windows-based Delphi client/server application. The developers will work as an integral part of our development team to help design and enhance the system.
The successful candidates will possess expertise and experience developing Windows desktop applications using Delphi technologies, and be able to work well with others in a fast-paced, growing team environment. Demonstration of sound development practices and object oriented design skills are a must.
Required:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- 3+ years software development experience with Borland Delphi (preferable v5+)
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases and syntax (MSSQL 2000)
- Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, and the XML APIs: DOM and SAX
- Experience creating effective and attractive GUIs using Delphi
- Dedicated work ethic in utilizing the power of Delphi to deliver results rapidly
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work both independently and with a team, working together to solve problems in the most effective way
Helpful Extras:
- Systems experience with both Windows and Linux server architectures and networking
- Strong Graphical aesthetic design skills
- Object-oriented development experience in other development languages
